Vision to Venture Partnership

Cedric Burl & Company is ready to explore a partnership with entrepreneurs who have new business ideas and are prepared to grow. Whether you operate online, have a single location, or no more than two locations, we can help you expand your reach and build your brand.

Our Focus

We exclusively work with small business owners looking to grow. If your business already has more than two locations, we will not be a fit. Our goal is to help businesses in the early stages expand their presence and become successful.

Website Development Support

If you don’t currently have an e-commerce website or a site that showcases your services, I can build one for you. We can discuss the fee based on the complexity of the site and the timeline required to complete it.

Access to Private Investors

I have a connection to a private investor willing to provide the financial support you need, up to $100,000 per location, without requiring any upfront cost. Instead of a loan, the investor participates in a profit-sharing agreement. If this investor is not the right fit, I have additional investor relationships open to equity partnerships, provided the deal makes sense for all parties.

Eligibility Requirements

To explore this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

- You have at least one product or service aimed at business-to-consumer (B2C), not business-to-business (B2B).

- Your product or service is priced between $5 and $200.

- Your products have to be designed, manufactured, or created by you, and drop shipping other products is not allowed.

Hypothetical Example: Gourmet Coffee Business

Suppose you need $100,000 to cover inventory, website development, and marketing expenses. The investor provides the $100,000 without taking equity in the business but instead receives an agreed pone percentage of the monthly profits.

Here’s how it would work:

Equity Agreement: You and I agree that I will hold 30% equity, and you will hold 70%.

Investor Arrangement: The investor holds no equity but receives a share of the profits.

Let’s assume your business earns $200,000 in revenue after one year, with $100,000 in expenses. This leaves $100,000 in profit.

1. Investor Profit Share: If the investor receives 40% of the profit, they would earn $40,000.

2. Remaining Profit: After the investor's share, $60,000 in profit remains.

- My share (30%): $18,000

- Your share (70%): $42,000

This structure gives you access to the funding you need without sacrificing a large portion of equity. The investor benefits through profit-sharing, and I provide the support needed to help grow your business while holding a fair equity share.
